Job Description
As a Development Team Lead/Scrum Master, you will be responsible for coaching, directing, and providing feedback to a team of developers. You will also provide feedback on existing products and contribute to the design of new product features. You and your teams will build intuitive and highly scalable web applications using the Microsoft stack. This position can be based out of one of our offices or remote.
Starting base pay for this role is between $140,000 and $175,000. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as transferable skills, work experience, business needs, training, location, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role will be eligible for a bonus as well as competitive medical, dental, and vision benefits, wellness reimbursement, life insurance, and a 401(k) with company match. We offer vacation and sick leave benefits (under a flexible time off policy in most states).

Responsibilities
- Manage a team of developers.
- Develop software and tools in support of design, infrastructure, and technology platforms, including operating systems, compilers, routers, networks, utilities, databases, cloud-based and Internet-related tools.
- Provide feedback on existing product and contribute to the design of new product features.
- Build intuitive and highly scalable web applications using the Microsoft stack.
- Build entire features across all layers (database, services, and Web UI).
- Build responsive web applications that work across different screen sizes.
- Test software development methodology in an agile environment.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with business users, project managers and other engineers to achieve elegant solutions.
- Provide recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Work alongside other engineers on the team to elevate technology and consistently apply best practices.
- Identify and coordinate additional trainings opportunities for team members.
- Responsible for daily performance management of team members.
- Complete team member performance evaluations and manage the performance review and compensation process for team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience managing a team of developers
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Technology expertise must include ASP.NET, MVC, SQL Server, C#, HTML/CSS, and Javascript.
- Experience with building mobile applications using Xamarin or React Native is a plus.
- Property and casualty insurance expertise a plus.
- Exeprience with Scrum/Agile development methodologies a plus.
- Prior experience with managing client product implementations is a plus.
