We are seeking a motivated, results-oriented college student to join our team for the summer of 2023. The Carrier internship experience offers interns an environment that provides practical, challenging, and meaningful on-the-job work experience, and the opportunity to apply knowledge and demonstrate strengths in efforts to assist Carrier in achieving its business strategy.

As a Device Software Tools Group Intern you will gain experience including, but not limited to activities and tasks listed below:

• Work within a team to add features and fix bugs in existing applications
• Take a small software project or subproject from a list, work with others to determine the needs, and follow it through to completion
• Collaborate with others using email, chat programs, project management programs, and version control systems

Experience/Qualifications

• Experience with C# or similar memory-managed language
• Solid understanding of basic data structures
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Self-driven and proactive
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
• Team player and willing to collaborate with others on projects
• COVID-19 vaccines will be required for all newly hired Carrier U.S. Salaried employees

Education

• Must be currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree program, majoring in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field of study, and have completed at least two years of study
• GPA must be greater than or equal to a 3.0 GPA

Relevant coursework or previous internships preferred
