As a DevOps Architect at Pavilion Payments, you have the ability to accelerate Gaming products deployment process within the following responsibilities: participate and own prioritized roadmap for DevOps, drive the deployment process through improving automation, own deployments for cloud-native offerings, own configuration management for different types of installations, ensure that operations have the latest information about deployments and are able to execute customer specific deployments.

The Gaming vertical market is rapidly trending toward technologically advanced solutions, driven by consumer demands for more traditional web-based services delivery and friction free experiences. The competitive landscape in iGaming / sports betting has been influenced by the repeal of PASPA, and in the land-based segments, cashless solutions and streamlined operations continue to increase in importance as casinos seek appeal with younger demographics and strive to facilitate world class omni-channel experiences. As our product portfolio transforms to address the multiple payments and payment service needs of our client base, a strong security culture must permeate our solution requirements ensuring stronger authentication, controls and capabilities accompany this manifold expansion of technology which now extends to consumer devices and across retail channels.

Ideal candidates are well versed in the challenges large companies face across their people, process, and technology when implementing complex software solutions across an interactive environment.


Duties and responsibilities:

  • Refine deployment automations and maintenance including relevant documentation.
  • Own operations of cloud deployment for cloud-native solutions and edge compute products.
  • Improve existing and build new configurable templates for customer deployments and support the technical deployments team with customer configurations.
  • Ensure Development and Operations platform meets the ongoing needs of both Engineering and Technical Deployments teams by interfacing with both parties regularly and building needs onto the platform development roadmap.


Critical success factors:

  • Help complete and maintain a development and operations platform which services the needs of development, deployment, and security teams.
  • Good understanding of different cloud providers (Azure, GCP) as well as on-prem
  • Continue to build a DevOps mentality within organization.
  • Improve the predictability of deployments.


Knowledge, experiences & capabilities:

Professional experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of prior experience in scalable technology/software business in a DevOps Architect role
  • PCI Compliance Architecture
  • Azure, GCP experience
  • Terraform, CI/CD
  • Prior experience in product company deploying customer-specific deployments.
  • Polished, collaborative customer communication skills
  • Commitment to building positive, trusting relationships with customers and partners.
  • Gaming industry domain experience is preferred.
  • Payment industry domain expertise.

  • Team player, with strong facilitation and collaboration skills

  • Ability to plan long-term as well as manage a day-to-day schedule for completing deliverables.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Life Sciences, business or other related industry relevant, Master´s Degree preferred.
