DevOps Architect

Project Description

Project scope is to implement DevSecOps in the client's patient data analytics platform.• Assess the existing patient insights platform design and architecture• Understand and capture the existing DevOps tools and processes by coordinating with client's enterprise stakeholders.• Identify the gaps and recommend the right list of DevSecOps tools• Development of automation plan for different application panes like data warehouse components, visualization, AI/ML analytics, web applications, cloud services and assets.• Implementation of the plan using a phased approach with no impact on existing business• Testing the upgraded platform and benchmarking the results• Documentation for process, maintenance, and monitoring

Responsibilities

• Design, architect and implement next generation CI/CD platform and automation testing for custom applications.• Identifying and onboarding the right tools for code repository, continuous delivery and continuous deployment based on client application platform.• Responsible for coaching and advising the team members on adoption of DevSecOps.• Work with development teams to understand their needs and design solutions to improve the software development process.• Expert level experience in understanding the automation build, integration and deployment tools and processes.• Proven ability to develop build and develop agile performing teams.• Participate in code and design reviews to ensure that applications and infrastructure are secure and scalable.• Automate the deployment and testing of application from the existing setup.• Monitor and resolve production issues related to application performance and availability.• Stay up to date with industry trends and ability to apply new technologies related to DevOps and best practices to diverse range of projects.• Ability to orchestrate and manage CI/CD stack.

Skills

Must have

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in development and/or DevSecOps experience deploying and maintaining web applications, infrastructure, and data analytics platform.• Exposure in designing and implementing solutions on AWS and DevOps.• Must have relevant experience with Agile development methodologies.• Strong experience in automating the Continuous Integration, Continuous Delivery and Agile practices for a highly scalable platform.• Perform analysis on the current practices, design and implement the best practices and CI/CD landscape for the existing system.• Experience with Microservices, Docker, Container deployment and orchestration of services.• Familiar with AWS services like S3, Lambda, CloudWatch, SQS, SNS, CloudFormation.• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.• Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools, such as Jenkins, GitLab, GitHub Actions, TravisCI.• Strong hands-on experience on AWS environment and scripting languages like Shell, Python, JS.• Monitoring and measuring the client experience and KPIs.• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Multiple CI/CD implementation experience in data analytics platform and custom applications.• Exposure to cloud databases like Snowflake, Amazon Redshift DB.• Experience in testing automation aligned delivery teams.
