The successful candidate for this position will have a strong passion for designing and implementing edge-based solutions for new and/or existing software applications. As a valued contributor to our team, your responsibilities will include (1) collaborative brainstorming and problem-solving to define requirements, objectives, and potential solutions; (2) developing/testing software and infrastructure from inception to deployment in the intelligence and defense communities; and (3), testing and maturing software and architectures from new ideas and customer feedback as part of an agile team.

DevOps Cloud Engineer Position Requirements:

• Current TS/SCI security clearance
• BS in Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, engineering, or a closely related field with 5-7 years of experience OR MS degree with 3-5 years of experience
• Demonstrated knowledge of cloud services, infrastructure automation, and DevOps environments
• Experience with basic programming (Python, Go)
• Experience with performing customer-facing support and troubleshooting system issues when problems arise
• Experience with NGA Risk Management Framework and accreditation of cloud systems
• Primary work location National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency-East, limited telecommuting available
• Security + Certification
• IAT level II certifications
• AWS Cloud certifications
• Team player with excellent communication skills

DevOps Cloud Engineer Preferences:

• Experience with Kubernetes
• Experience administering Linux and/or Windows servers
• Experience with infrastructure and developing CI/CD pipelines
