Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM Technology Zone is the one stop shop for IBMers and business partners to build show and share solutions built on IBM technologies to facilitate opportunity progression and customer adoption.
As a SRE and Content Developer you will collaborate closely with the automation and infrastructure leads to ensure smooth uninterrupted operations of IBM Cloud AWS Azure and on-premises workloads in a scalable secure and performant capacity.

Your Role and Responsibilities
• As part of an SRE team build and maintain tooling to monitor and maintain the availability performance capacity and continuity of Technology Zone Certified Base Images
• Use TechZone automation to quickly develop new patterns of content to respond to business needs.
• Participate in on-call rotation engage with product teams to fix production outages and carry forward action items to improve ongoing reliability.
• Collaborate with Automation team and Cloud Leads to identify possible areas of improvement and automation.
• Assist stakeholders as required to support complex MVPs.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise
•Minimum 3 years Expertise in one coding language i.e. Python Typescript Nodejs GoLang or Java.
•2 years Expertise with automation tooling i.e. Terraform Ansible Chef Powershell etc.
•Minimum 1 year of experience with RedHat OpenShift or Kubernetes.
•Familiarity with IBM Cloud VMware AWS and Azure with demonstrable competency with three of the four.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

•Experience with SSO methodologies and supporting technologies- SAML LDAP etc.
•Possess a deep understanding of Hybrid Cloud technologies and strategy including IBM’s OCP Cloud Pak and Services strategy and how these elements bring value to clients and end users.
