DevOps Engineer

As HotelRunner, We’re looking for great DevOps Engineers ready to take on some serious hacking for our İzmir R&D Office.

About the job

• Integrate software development and operational processes within the company, develop and manage Continuous Deployment and Continuous Integration (CI/CD) processes.
• Implement and manage infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, Ansible, or Puppet.
• Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve operational efficiency.
• Monitor system performance and reliability, optimize debugging processes, and take necessary corrective actions.
• Implement and enforce security best practices across all layers of the infrastructure.
• Develop various strategies to optimize and accelerate application performance.
• Establish effective communication between development and operations teams, enhance collaboration and integration between teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Experience with cloud platforms AWS, GCP
• Proficient in configuration management tools (AWS Cloudformation, Terraform)
• Experience with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, AWS CodePipeline, Jenkins, CircleCI) and automation processes.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes
• Proficient in scripting languages Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Basic knowledge of security and networking.
• Strong communication skills, high problem-solving ability.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment is a plus
