THE ROLE

We are currently looking for a talented DevOps Engineer to join our client's driven development team. In this role you will work alongside development teams to build automation, infrastructure, and monitoring in our client's platform all while enforcing best security practices and helping establish robust documentation practices.

This role is hybrid and will require in-office presence. You must be within commuting distance of Chicago, IL.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Create and maintain IaC using Terraform
• Using a variety of programs, build images used for automation, development, and services
• Maintain legacy services and infrastructure in Unbuntu
• Move alerting and monitoring into a new system, ensuring platform is always secure

WHAT YOU WILL NEED

• 3+ years of experience in DevOps/Security
• Experience with the following technologies/tools: Terraform, Packer, Docker, Bash, Ubuntu, and Datadog
• Proven ability to collaborate across teams to ensure platform security and infrastructure
• Deep knowledge of best security practices
• Highly self-motivated with the ability to work with little to no supervision
