How you’ll make an impact 

We are looking for a dedicated DevOps engineer that can assist us in continuing efforts to streamline and innovate upon our CI and deployment infrastructure as well as working closely with our internal teams to understand their needs and then design, develop and deploy tooling and automation to improve efficiency. 

Success looks like

• A successful candidate will be someone who can take leadership of a project and see it to completion and is passionate about utilizing modern technologies to build and deploy solutions that improve internal workflow
• As times goes, on the candidate for this role would ideally utilize their passion for process-improvement by bringing creative, out of the box ideas on how we can further improve our processes and overall team workflow
• Success in this role is measured by several metrics including Jira story/epic completion, active participation in daily troubleshooting efforts, and overall project success

What you’ll do

• ​Maintaining and upgrading CI infrastructure and processes as needed to support development teams
• Creating and maintaining cloud infrastructure using IaC and change management best practices
• Troubleshooting CI pipeline issues and creating permanent, sustainable solutions to prevent the moving forwardUtilize various monitoring, alerting and logging tools to analyze data/usage patterns and discover potential areas of improvement
• Consult with other teams on best practices around access, stability and cost-efficiency of the services within our ecosystem
• Clearly document and occasionally demo new features and upgrades implemented by our team

What you’ll bring with you

Required Experience 

• Completion of degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related technical field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 3 years of professional experience working in an IT Ops or Engineering role
• Strong proficiency in Git framework
• Strong proficiency in CI/CD process and design
• Experience building and maintaining code pipelines
• Experience creating and maintaining cloud resources and services (AWS experience preferred)
• Knowledge of IaC processes and tooling
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker or Podman

Preferred Experience 

• 2+ years experience working in a DevOps engineer role
• Experience maintaining Kubernetes clusters
• Automation experience via tools like Rundeck, Lambda, or CI Jobs
• Experience building and maintaining GitLab CI pipelines and infrastructure
• Terraform experience

Our Benefits 

The anticipated salary range for this role is $125,000- $140,000. This role is eligible to participate in our equity incentive plan.
