Role: DevOps Engineer

Location: Irving, TX

Cognizant is looking for a DevOps Engineer for our clients. The role is expected to drive technology discussions and analyze the current landscape for gaps in addressing business needs. Cognizant needs a motivated individual to challenge the status quo and provide thought leadership/best practices to enhance our current services and technologies.

An ideal candidate is someone who enjoys working in a fast paced, collaborative environment. Someone that values the "team" and leverages the opinions and expertise of their teammates to deliver quality.

Required skills: Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Ansible, Unix Scripting

Key Qualifications:

Job Description:

• Proficiency in Ansible (Other configuration management tools may count but preferable is Ansible first)
• Proficiency in Docker and orchestration tools
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux management and troubleshooting
• Having intermediate skills in scripting and programming (focused on Shell and Python)
• Knowledge on Java and Node applications is good to have for troubleshooting
• CI/CD pipeline, Jenkins, Kubernetes
• AWS Services like EC2, Lambda, S3 etc.
