DevOps Engineer

This is a unique opportunity to work with cutting-edge cloud and AI technologies. You will build cloud-based services for a new PaaS using AWS and K8S technology.

The new platform will serve developers to create solutions for the largest financial institutions in the world to fight, prevent, and manage financial crime.

Responsibilities 

• Own system design and cost-efficient architecture for our cloud-native platform service.
• Design and implement central observability and governance solutions for multi-tenant, multi-workload AWS cloud environments.
• Design, Implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines on various environments up to production.
• Build and maintain a cloud-native platform Infrastructure following the "infrastructure as code" principle.
• Lead POC and tech selection processes from idea to implementation.
• Consult and advise R&D, and CloudOps/SRE teams to confirm operability, reliability, and efficiency specifications are achieved.
• Solve technical, business, and process-related challenges.
• Interface and work closely with various R&D Groups (Architects, Developers, Product Managers).
• Deliver and share knowledge and the DevOps mindset across the organization.
• Automate everything.

 Requirements 

• At least 2-3 years of hands-on DevOps experience - a must
• Expert-level AWS development and solution architecture capabilities - a must
• Expert level in Docker and Kubernetes technologies and eco-system - a must
• Advanced Linux system administration skills – a must
• Experience with at least one programming language Bash/Python/Java/Groovy - a must
• Hands-on implementation of Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery in complex cloud-native products.
• Experience with monitoring and log analysis tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, etc.
• Experience using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform – a must
• Cloud operations in production experience – an advantage
• Experience with Jenkins – an advantage
• Development experience – an advantage
• Passion for new technologies, capable of learning new technologies quickly
• Great interface management with peers and managers, team player
• Excellent English, ability to communicate fluently with peers abroad

  Education

• Computer Science BSc/BA degree or equivalent experience – an advantage
