The Opportunity

Drawing on your experience designing and operating production systems, industry best practices, and close collaboration with your peers, you will develop and operate the infrastructure, processes, tools, and standards that all Digital Asset Engineers rely on daily for all their development. You will be the key in making the organization lean and successful.

The successful candidate MUST reside in the UK.

Key Responsibilities 

• This role defines and evolves engineering infrastructure and tooling required for building, testing, documenting and auditing software.
• Partners with the engineering teams to define and deliver against the service and capability requirements of our internal infrastructure in order to build and deliver our product artifacts to our clients.
• Coordinates and manages the technical side of release processes.
• Identifies and resolves improvement opportunities to foster collaboration, knowledge and capability sharing across teams.

Key Criteria

• 5+ years of professional experience in DevOps Engineering.
• Demonstrated ability to interface and build rapport with internal clients in the context of requirements gathering and production support.
• Experience with managing SDLC tools (version control(Git), Issue Tracker (Jira) etc), and delivery using the agile methodology.
• Experience with managing CICD services such as CircleCI and Azure Pipelines
• Experience with managing various build tools (Bazel, SBT, Gradle, Mill)
• Experience in managing cloud and container infrastructure (Google Cloud, Amazon AWS, Configuration Management tools, Linux, Docker, Terraform)
• Experience in managing developer tooling (Nix, DirEnv)
• Scripting experience (BASH and others)
• Ability to think critically about established processes and automation pipelines, and propose how they can be improved to become more efficient and productive. 
• Collaborative approach that factors and embraces and insists upon diverse perspectives as a strategic imperative.
• Open, strong communicator who communicates effectively across groups, locations and cultures, in-person and virtually.
• Continuous growth mindset with strong disposition toward innovation and intrapreneurial ways of working.
