Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior DevOps EngineerΒ to join our team working in Software as a Medical Device (SaMD). You will have the opportunity, along with the dev team, to define regulatory requirements and policies that affect product requirements, creating product roadmaps, and prioritizing features based on client feedback and business objectives in our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project stakeholders to identify product/technical requirements
- Design software and web applications, support development and monitor progress
- Implement the Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery pipeline
- Oversee deployment to Google Cloud Platform
- Maintain compliance with internal compliance team regarding FDA regulations for security enhancements and Industry Best Practices including:
- Front End security
- Capability to resist DoS or similar attack
- Intrustion detection
- SQL access
- Work with internal QA team to ensure product specifications properly function
- Provide recommendations on scalability of the application to support users
- Support/mentor other DevOps Engineers and junior team members
- Provide client feedback and guidance
- Leverage tools and processes such as Terraform and GitOps
Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 5 years in professional software development, two years of experience in a management or Senior DevOps Engineer role
- Experience working in DevOps within SaMD industry helpful
- Experience working in a regulated industry preferred
- Experience with Golang and Python
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to work independently
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, strong communication skills
- Affinity for learning new programming languages, tools, and applications
- Certification in GCP preferred
