DevOps Engineer (6 month Contract, outside IR35)

We are looking for a DevOps Engineer on an initial 6 month contract that will sit outside IR35.

Here at Mindera, we are building a world class team and would love it for you to join us. Working with our team, you will be involved in defining the product life cycle, describing playable requirements, defining scheduling and working closely with the development and business teams; enhancing communication to make sure the outcome is as expected. As a DevOps Engineer you’ll be part of an extremely agile team of engineers working with all the pieces of a system. From writing code to spin up cloud infrastructures to driving root cause analysis.

• One or more programming language such as Python, GO, Java or Javascript
• MS, kubernetes clusters, containarizations
• Roaming around a Unix system and pinpointing problem root causes
• Feeling humble and motivated by being able to learn with and teach others
• Being self-driven and working with little supervision towards a common team or company purpose

You are good at

• Understanding how the Internet and Web applications work over and under the hood
• Highly scalable/transactional systems and infrastructures
• Metrics, graphs and everything around monitoring
• Amazon Web Services and/or Google Cloud Platform
• Containers and orchestration frameworks such as Kubernetes
• Configuration management frameworks such as Chef, Puppet or Ansible
• Managing NoSQL data stores such as MongoDB and/or Elasticsearch
• Writing code to make computers do things for you
