DevOps Engineer

In this role you’ll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers) where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Your Role and Responsibilities
As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing monitoring and managing OpenShift environments to support our applications and services. You will work closely with our development operations and security teams to ensure the reliability availability and scalability of our systems. You will be able to identify the problem resolve follow-up and find the possible automated solutions to problems. Technical thought ownership is required. You should be able to provide advisory on large and / or complex projects to ensure success and client satisfaction while developing collaborative Solution Design on projects assigned or owned. Cross-knowledge sharing and education of junior learning technical specialists is a must.

– install/configure/maintain devops tools
– automates installation/configuration
– integrates devops tools
– maintains DevOps tools

• research & document options to enable DevOps toolchain but not limited to (Ansible Tower AAP Jenkins Maven etc)

-> impact assessment
-> install reconfigure
– document everything
– participate & constitutes & implements in CI/CD/CT strategy
– troubleshooting when needed

• perform OCP / Kubernetes platform and components upgrades in disconnected environments
• troubleshoot and update OCP / Kubernetes platform deployment code and inventories

-> Create and maintain technical documentation based on project and client specific needs
