Job Description

You will work within our DevOps team to maintain and further develop our world-class, web-based, healthcare platform. We are seeking a DevOps engineer with strong operations skills and background to join us as we modernize and bring in new technologies and ways of working.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Working within the DevOps team on a day-to-day basis addressing issues that arise
  • Working with the broader business to spec and deploy new infrastructure to customer requirements
  • Assist in developing the Lumeon infrastructure using automated tools, such as Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins and Docker
  • Work with Developers to offer a fast automated service to the rest of the business and customers

Requirements

Essential Experience:
  • Knowledge of and experience with Ansible or equivalent configuration management tool
  • Strong Linux Administration knowledge
  • Knowledge of and experience with LEMP (Linux, Nginx, MySQL, PHP) administration
  • Understanding of cloud-based Web architecture
  • Knowledge of and experience with working with Terraform
  • Experience using AWS or equivalent cloud platform tools and services to manage/implement infrastructure
  • Experience with scripting in Bash or Python scripting languages
  • Some familiarity with database administration and tools
  • Knowledge of and experience with docker
  • CI/CD experience – Jenkins
Preferred Experience:
  • A 3-year degree in Computer Science or similar experience
  • Experience in a PCI-DSS or ISO 27001-compliant environment
  • Experience with systems integration, healthcare specifically (e.g. HL7, MirthConnect, DICOM)
  • DataDog, Splunk, Git, Jenkins and Kubernetes.
