DevOps Engineer

Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a DevOps Engineer.

Position type: Full-time/contract

Duration: 8 months+

Location: Phoenix, AZ/remote

As a DevOps Engineer, you will:

The Senior DevOps engineer is responsible for defining and delivering enterprise level solutions to operational stability and automated deployment to production environments. This includes developing and promoting standard operating procedures and policies for the operating platforms in area(s) of responsibility; and providing guidance to development teams and integration teams.

Responsibilities:

• Balance of technical aptitude within the DevOps capability, but being someone that they can put in front of senior leadership to give status on a lot of things, a lot of this work that they'll be doing wrapped up into their three year strategy around DevOps
• Automate development and release pipelines, starting with application builds and deployments, as well as testing and other stuff there.
• Lead the effort to build and maintain continuous integration and continuous delivery pipeline.
• Participate and lead the DevOps community of Practice service, DevOps evangelist throughout the org, promoting communication, collaboration, and integration.
• Open to any automation tool experience.
• Doing a lot of work around GitHub actions as something that's kind of removing people from GitHub to GitHub actions, so a lot of that work is being done within this space as well.
• DevOps dashboard reporting
• Orchestration tools like harness OPS nice to have

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in IT or related field (Required)
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a DevOps Engineer role (Required)
• Minimum 2 years' experience with Amazon Web Services (Required)
• Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology. (Required)

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay range*: $ 80 - 85/hr W2

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
