DevOps Engineer

Job Description

Our DevOps/Platform team works closely with our Engineering and SRE teams to provide a stable and scalable infrastructure solutions. We are growing and maturing our Infrastructure as Code systems as we increase the number of services, users, devices and regions.

Responsibilities

• Work with the Engineering teams to help scale our growing cloud infrastructure demands for new and existing applications
• Having ownership of our Terraform module library and Infrastructure Code Automation
• Maintain and update existing AWS resources with Terraform
• Design and implement new AWS infrastructure for multiple production environments
• Maintain our Continuous Integration and Delivery workflows
• Deploy applications to multiple environments across multiple regions
• Monitor the performance of production services using DataDog Logs,  Metrics and APM.
• Contribute to architecture discussions and best practice adoptions for upcoming and existing applications
• Implement best practices to create, secure, observable and scalable services

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field 
• 2+ years of professional DevOps/Platform Cloud engineering experience
• 2+ years experience with Infrastructure as Code to manage Cloud Resources
• Strong understanding of AWS, Google Cloud or other cloud-based computing platform

Preferred Qualifications

• Terraform experience
• Docker experience
• Programming experience
