Essential Functions

  • Automate and maintain environment builds while also understanding engineering best practices like operating system design, database management systems, and software installation processes
  • Build tools to reduce occurrences of errors and improve customer experience
  • Investigate and resolve more complex DevOps technical issues
  • Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance
  • Implement integrations requested by customers and deploy environments, updates, and fixes
  • Develop software to integrate with internal back-end systems
  • Develop scripts to automate processes
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required

  • Intermediate knowledge of scripting languages, such as Ruby, Python, Powershell
  • Intermediate knowledge of databases and SQL
  • Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Inquisitive, agile, and strong team player with excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values
  • Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams, and Outlook

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent combination of education and experience required
  • 3+ years general Software Development experience required
  • Experience in systems and environment maintenance required
