Good news! 1WorldSync is looking for a DevOps Engineerto join our team at our downtown Chicago headquarters.

Reporting directly to our Director, Applications Operations & DevOps, the DevOps Engineer will be part of a team of applications technologists to support and maintain various 1WorldSync SaaS applications and platform based applications used by our customers and staff hosted in a hybrid cloud made up of colocation data centers, Azure, GCP, and AWS. This person will utilize Dev/Ops principles and enable the automation of our applications. This role will also collaborate with engineering, infrastructure & security, product, and support teams to deliver application services to our customers and internal users.

As DevOps Engineer at 1WorldSync, responsibilities include the following:

• Serve as a leader as part of an IT Applications team supporting various corporate and commercial systems
• Support the security of commercial and select corporate applications
• Deliver and maintain automation solutions for 1WorldSync SaaS applications
• Build production applications - Manage code deployments, fixes, updates and related processes
• Support mission critical cloud environments (Colocation, Azure, GCP, and AWS) in a 24/7 environment
• Perform root cause analysis of production issues and errors
• Develop scripts and CI/CD pipelines to automate & support deployments
• Build and support monitoring systems - Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Ensure adherence to change control process for 1WorldSync SaaS applications
• Participate in the maintenance and testing of business continuity plans
• Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders
• Coordinate troubleshooting for applications related issues with other teams, departments or vendors
• Support select cloud based platform services
• Support other reasonable activities related to applications administration as required
• Support Application releases during scheduled maintenance windows
• Provide off hours support and on-call duties as needed

Required Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline
• 3+ years experience in applications administration, development, security, or systems administration
• 3+ years hands on deploying and maintaining SaaS offerings in Azure
• 3+ years hands on experience with programming languages like Java, Linux scripting, and Oracle SQL
• Experience in Kubernetes Clusters, Docker, Code Management (Git, Git Lab, BitBucket), ELK
• 3+ years hands on experience with Windows Server, MS SQL Server, Powershell, .Net/C#, php

Desired Skills and Experience:

• Experience with CI/CD pipeline tools such as Jenkins
• Experience with Linux Systems (e.g. CentOS)
• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Check_MK
• Experience with Atlassian tools and Atlassian Cloud
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Understanding of and adherence to Kanban for workflow tracking and delivery
• Experience with Google Cloud, AWS, or other cloud infrastructure hosting
• Experience in a SaaS or Internet based enterprise environment

Additional Details:

• This is a hybrid position that requires 3 days per week at our Chicago headquarters location.
• This role requires the candidate to have the authority to work in, and be located in the US.
• This position requires up to 5% travel.
