Your Role and Responsibilities
IBM is searching for a DevSecOps Engineer to support United States Space Force (USSF) by developing software in support of Space Systems Command (SSC) Cyber Operations Branch rapid agile development of defensive cyber solutions to protect defend and respond to both ground and space based cyber adversarial threats. A successful candidate should be a leader and problem solver with a proven ability to deliver superior results as part of a high performing team in a fast-paced environment.

***Candidates for consideration must EITHER have a Secret OR Top-Secret Clearance (US Citizenship Required) ***

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Relevant experience performing engineering activities in the Government (military and/or civil servant) federally funded research and development center or profit or non-profit Government support or development contractor arena.
• Experience in programming languages (at least 2): Java Node/JS Terraform Ansible Chef Puppet Python.
• DoD Secret clearance required.
• Experience or Knowledge in the following Areas: Agile software development agile methodologies agile project management software project management defensive cyber military operations software development life cycle management program/project management systems engineering strategic planning cross-functional team.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Relevant DoD and/or Industry work experience in Space Systems Command.
• Experience with Cyber Operations Branch (SSC/SZYO) program office.
• Familiarity & Knowledge: Apache Spark Kubernetes Kafka SIMP Project Ansible Docker GIT Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) Suricata Zeek Kibana Logstash Elastic Search Neo4J PostgreSQL AWS Cloud & Nifi.
