DevOps Engineer

SMX is seeking an DevOps Engineer to support USINDOPACOM J68 portfolio of programs. This position is onsite Hickam AFB, Camp Smith, SMX HQ and hybrid remote in Hawaii.

This position requires a Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI which requires US citizenship.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage integration, scanning, and deployment of multiple applications into orchestrated frameworks
• Work with deployment teams to orchestrate deployments to development, test, and operational environments
• Create, maintain, improve Continuous Integration (CI) pipelines in gitlab-ci
• Monitor CI pipelines for performance and resolve observed or reported issues
• Implement and maintain version promotion of one or more applications within CI pipelines
• Integrate development tools for artifact management, software test, software quality assessment
• Implement continuous delivery and execute automated or manual deployments of applications into orchestrated environments
• Establish effective communication with internal and external stakeholders
• Participate in division performance review meetings and discussions

Required Skills & Experience

• Active Secret able to obtain TS/SCI clearance
• Associate’s Degree and additional experience in relevant field may be substituted
• At least one year of professional experience using C#, Python, HTML, Javascript, Java, CSS, SASS/SCSS
• Strong experience maintaining deployment environments for development, test and production
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Customer focused
• Capacity to learn new systems rapidly and adapt quickly to change

Desired Skills & Experience

• Experience with USINDOPACOM
• Intra-agency or joint command experience
• Prior experience as a Network/Software/Security Engineer
• IAT Level I or II/IAM Level II certification (Security +, CASP)
