DevOps Engineer – Cloud Infrastructure

O(1) Labs is a blockchain technology company that has successfully incubated the Mina Protocol. Using Mina, we are now building a private and secure way to access Web3 as the world’s premier zero-knowledge application platform.

O(1) Labs are looking for an experienced, motivated and highly skilled DevOps engineer to help us envision, build and maintain a best in class cloud infrastructure for distributed systems, with focus on designing and implementing a frictionless CI/CD system. As an O(1) Labs’ DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our CI/CD systems are designed to be highly reliable, scalable, fast, secure, measurable and cost effective. The ideal candidate is someone with extensive experience in designing and implementing robust CI/CD systems for blockchain technologies or other complex distributed systems. Candidates based in EU timezone are preferred although we are prepared to be flexible for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Work with stakeholders to define clear CI/CD requirements and roadmap

• Design and implement a best in class CI/CD system

• Ensure maximum CI/CD uptime for the organization

• Educate and ensure best practices are understood and followed

Requirements

• Kubernetes

• Terraform

• Docker

• Google Cloud Platform

• PostgreSQL

Ideal candidate

• Highly focused and works well in a professional Agile environment

• Experience with Dhall configuration language

• Rust

• OCaml or other functional programming language

• Extensive experience implementing CI/CD systems for blockchain

• Experience with software testing frameworks

• Experience with Zero-knowledge proofs

Additional Information:

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $190k-$205K + equity + benefits, commensurate with experience.. Our salary ranges are determined by role and level. Within the range, individual pay is determined by role, level  and additional factors, including job-related skills and experience.
