What will you be doing?

A Brief Overview
DevOps Engineers will be responsible for spreading knowledge, ideas and applied implementation skills needed to improve software delivery and runtime performance. You will be responsible for ensuring that the customer understands the delivery requirements and takes a collaborative approach for the entire Software Development Lifecycle. This includes active involvement in building software delivery and testing pipelines along with automated provisioning of infrastructure. In addition to technical skills, you will also be a crucial coach and mentor for teams through their Agile/DevOps journey.

Job Responsibilities

  • Be a servant leader by providing technical guidance, mentoring peers and bridging silos between teams.
  • Assist clients in building and adopting software delivery tools to accelerate their DevOps growth.
  • Make recommendations for building new infrastructure and improving existing architecture.
  • Maintain existing and future software services, code and configuration.
  • Help implement and adopt new technologies for future deployment.
  • Provide technical guidance, knowledge transfers and mentorship to peers as required.

Ansible Expertise:

  • Advanced Ansible experience: API integrations, data transformation, config management, IaC
  • Strong focus on enterprise-level automation

Kubernetes Deployment:

  • Advanced Kubernetes knowledge: scalable deployments, networking, troubleshooting
  • Bonus: OpenShift experience

CI/CD Expertise:

  • Automated pipeline creation and integration
  • GitOps deployment best practices
  • Secret management and security compliance
  • Bonus: Experience with GitHub Actions and data pipeline automation

Cloud Platform Knowledge:

  • Strong Azure experience
  • GCP familiarity is a plus

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • OpenShift Direct Experience
  • GitHub & GitHub Actions

Observability & Data Visualization:

  • Data flow management, visualization platform integration (e.g., Grafana).
  • GCP Expertise
  • Ansible Automation Platform (AAP) Experience
  • Terraform Knowledge
  • Python Development:
  • Custom Ansible module creation.

Consultative Mindset:

  • Ability to engage with customer stakeholders of various technical backgrounds.

Specific Tool Experience (Desirable)

  • Grafana Alloy, Cribl Stream, Confluent Cloud, Kafka, Grafana, Nautobot.

Networking Automation with Ansible:

  • Experience automating network devices using Ansible.
  • Event-Driven Automation with Ansible

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Computer Science required or Bachelor's Degree Related Field required
  • A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in a related field required
  • Strong understanding of DevOps principles and Agile Development processes
  • Strong mentorship and presentation skills, comfortable working directly with clients
  • High attention to detail and able to solve complex challenges
  • Experience with deployment automation and orchestration
