DevOps Engineer (GCP Specialist)

JOB DESCRIPTION

We're seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer with expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our team. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between development and operations, optimizing our cloud infrastructure and improving deployment processes.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage GCP-based infrastructure
• Automate deployment pipelines and CI/CD processes
• Optimize cloud resource utilization and costs
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
• Collaborate with development teams to improve application performance and reliability
• Ensure security best practices are followed across our cloud infrastructure

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering

• Strong proficiency with GCP services (Cloud Run, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Apigee, etc.)
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, Cloud Deployment Manager)
• Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Tekton, Cloud Build)
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
• GCP Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer certification
• Knowledge of security practices in cloud environments
