Position Summary:

Perforce, is searching for a DevOps Engineer I to design and build the next-generation cloud platform for Perforce’s SaaS product portfolio to ensure the security, reliability, and high availability of all our production & CI/CD environments and applications. In this vital role, you will design, develop, & Implement automated tools and technologies to enable efficient delivery and service management of the production services & release deliveries.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for building platforms and frameworks to create consistent, verifiable, and automatic management of applications and infrastructure between non-production and production environments
• Hands-on experience on Cloud technologies and practices.
• Implement application security best practices throughout the agile SDLC
• Foster and advocate for a DevOps culture at Perforce to ensure efficient testing, delivery, and deployment of all software artefacts
• Develop and support our CI/CD pipeline infrastructure/tools.
• Understand & align with design principles and practices across all product portfolios
• Your daily tasks will include developing a implementing technical design for our cloud platform, developing & maintaining a framework, and working with Dev and DevOps teams to ensure that the product meets our quality standards.

Requirements:

• BS/MS/BTech in Computer Science, Engineering, Management, or a related field preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in the SaaS software cloud operation.
• Deep understanding with solid experience of fundamental services on AWS/Azure/ GCP like Compute, Network, Database, Security, Management & Observability
• Experience in building & managing CI/CD pipelines for system software, Operating Systems & libraries
• Versed in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, Ruby, Go, Java
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker container technology
• Hands-on experience as a software developer.
• Technical knowledge of cloud-based scalable web application architectures and technologies; AWS (preferred), GCP & Azure
• Aware of secure SDLC practices & DevSecOps practices and metrics
• Hands-on development with infrastructure as code frameworks; Terraform and Serverless Framework is a plus
• Experience in one or more automation tools like Terraform, Puppet, AWS Cloud Formation, and Azure ARM templates
