We are seeking a DevOps Engineer I to join our team.
Job Summary
The Imprivata DevOps team is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the automations for software delivery, monitoring and alerting, and operation of Imprivata's cloud infrastructure via IaC. The DevOps Engineer role works with others in DevOps to provide technical expertise for cloud products. Utilizing the principles of DevOps and aligning with our Development teams, the Engineer will be a key contributor to our efforts to enable fast and efficient delivery of new software for our Cloud based offerings, while supporting current operational needs and designing our next generation operational framework and related processes.
Duties and Responsibilities

• Mastering all DevOps IaC and CI-CD pipeline tools, including their implementation, optimization and support.
• Working with Agile development teams to improve code quality and delivery velocity.
• Providing technical guidance for project delivery and efficient operational services.
• Participating in the design of future cloud environments as we plan for scale and growth.
• Auditing the security of the Imprivata Cloud/SaaS hosting environment and processes.
• Ensuring changes to the production environments are documented, tested, and approved.
• Collaborating with engineering and the business stakeholders to support the delivery of regular software updates while maintaining a high level of availability.

Required Qualifications

• 0-3 years experience in a DevOps (or similar) role.
• Very strong Linux Skills are required.
• Experience using, and a good working understanding of Git
• Experience working with AWS Services including EKS and RDS. One or more AWS certifications is highly desirable.
• A working knowledge of a scripting language such as Python/Bash is required.
• The ability to create infrastructure as code using Terraform is very desirable.
• Experience with Docker and container hosting technology is required.
• Working knowledge of server, networking, operating system, database, application performance management, monitoring and alerting system, load balancing, and security systems is desirable.
• The ability to understand situations empathically and understand problems by organizing information logically. This includes anticipating problems for root causes and alternative solutions. An effective communicator (both verbal and written) that can work with all levels and departments in the organization

This position offers a s alary range of $80,000 to $110,000 (inclusive of variable compensation such as bonuses and incentives). In addition, more information about Imprivata's benefit offerings can be found here . This salary range represents the high and low end of Imprivata's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors , such as a candidate's location, skills, experience, and qualifications.
