DevOps Engineer (OpenShift)

Your Role and Responsibilities
​​​​​​​ As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for designing implementing monitoring and managing OpenShift environments to support our applications and services. You will work closely with our development operations and security teams to ensure the reliability availability and scalability of our systems. You will be able to identify the problem resolve follow-up and find the possible automated solutions to problems. Technical thought ownership is required. You should be able to provide advisory on large and / or complex projects to ensure success and client satisfaction while developing collaborative Solution Design on projects assigned or owned. Cross-knowledge sharing and education of junior learning technical specialists is a must.

• Design deploy and maintain OpenShift clusters in production and non-production environments.
• Configure and optimize OpenShift infrastructure components such as nodes pods routes and services.
• Implement security best practices for OpenShift environments including authentication authorization and network policies.
• Monitor and troubleshoot OpenShift clusters to identify and resolve issues proactively; perform required security OS and Middleware patching.
• Automate routine tasks and workflows using scripting languages and configuration management tools; perform regular backups disaster recovery planning and capacity planning for OpenShift environments.
• Coach juniors in installing configuring and maintaining services on OpenShift.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code tools like Ansible is a plus.
• Relevant certifications such as Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) or Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE) is desirable.
