Job Description:

As our quest to democratise financial services continues at blazing speed, Zettle's Platforms Alliance is looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer with a good deal of experience and a truly Agile mindset to join our Platform Services Team.

In this role, you will be part of an innovative team co-tackling a wide variety of challenges together with a group of talented people driven by a shared ambition to create hassle-free solutions for our sellers. In practice, your mission will consist in providing the best platform experience for our feature teams. Easy, right?

The skills to succeed

As a member of the Platform Services team you would be jointly responsible for the day to day operations of our infrastructure systems and everything “platform” that allow millions of transactions to flow through our system every day.

As a member of the wider platform area you would be able to make a difference in a more general direction around shared DevOps domains between the platform teams such as infrastructure and monitoring and collaborate on POC work and larger projects.

Besides, everything is hosted on AWS and our infrastructure is defined in Terraform (we are using both continuous integration and deployment).

With that in mind, we think that the following skills and know-how would greatly help you to be successful in this role:

• Strong understanding of AWS.

• Be able to write clean code in a language or two to create tooling (Python, Golang or Java).

• A passion to automate away repetitive tasks and increase efficiency.

• Experience with Docker.

• Extolls the behaviors and understanding associated with DevOps and SRE.

• Understands the developer perspective of platforms/systems.

• Great collaboration skills.
