Job Description

Our entity provides consistent geodata, services and applications via a modern infrastructure efficiently and securely, so that spatial decisions can be made reliably within Deutsche Telekom AG.

As an agile team, we follow an iterative DevOps approach to software development and deployment using CI/CD pipelines. Candidates with an open mind, ideas for innovation and optimization are encouraged.

Senior DevOps Engineer is responsible for entire lifecycle of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment pipelines and Infrastructure as Code approaches. He/She takes account and defines automated configuration management, release management, build, test and deployment activities. Also provides prototypes and concepts for further automation of assigned technology.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

• Administering, supporting, and optimizing the cloud infrastructure
• Developing and maintaining automated CI/CD pipelines for application deployment
• Sharing and documenting knowledge
• Proactively solving problems
• Optimizing and automating workflows
• Ensuring compliance with security and architectural guardrails
• Working closely with other (application development) teams in an international environment

Qualifications

YOU WILL SUCCEED IF YOU:

• Have ability to mentor and teach others complex cloud and application concepts.
• Have effective communication skills, including working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Have a passion for continuous learning and keeping up with the latest security trends and technologies.
• Have strong Leadership Skills, motivation and influencing skills.
• Required technical experience as DevOps Engineer at least 3 years.
• Speak English at least on B2 level

Salary

Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than 3800 € /brutto.
