Job Description

You’ll be part of a team managing the operations of a BSS system in a cloud environment. You take care of installations, managing upgrades of Middleware and monitoring the business use cases of the system based on log files. On call duties and maintenance during night hours are not an issue for you.

Qualifications

Skills:

• A good knowledgebase in Linux, Java and Oracle database in enterprise environments.
• Experienced with virtualization of platforms (VMWare, Kubernetes) as well as Gitlab / Github and GitOps workflows.
• Familiar with agile tools like Git, Ansible, Jira, Confluence and Jenkins
• Good English skills written and verbal.

Soft skills:

• Team player
• Understanding of how to implement DevOps principles.
• Self-organised and motivated to explore new topics.
• Structured way of work organization
• Communicative and customer service oriented towards our internal organization.

Nice to have:

• Experienced in using different programming languages
• Knowledge around the ITIL process, esp. incident- problem- and change processes
• Certifications in software engineering or unix based operating systems
