DevOps Engineer (Remote)

For this role specifically, we are seeking individuals to help transform and streamline a key component of America's immigration process.

As an integral part of the program, the DevOps Engineer will work closely with other teams to help us build functional systems that improve customer experience. DevOps Engineer responsibilities include deploying product updates, identifying production issues, and implementing integrations that meet customer needs. If you have a solid background in software engineering and Docker/Kubernetes, Git, AWS (or related cloud environments) - we'd love to chat with you.

Responsibilities

• Manage cloud Infrastructure-as-Code
• Develop, automate, and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Perform root cause analysis for production errors
• Investigate and resolve technical issues
• Develop automation scripts
• Design procedures for system troubleshooting and maintenance

Requirements

• Work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar software engineering role
• Good knowledge of Java, Groovy, or Python
• Working knowledge of Git
• Strong knowledge of Docker & Kubernetes
• Strong knowledge of Linux
• Experience working within a cloud environment (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure)
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL
• Problem-solving attitude
• Nice to have: BS in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field
