We are currently seeking a DevOps Engineerto join our growing team. Due tothe unprecedented situation of COVID-19, MDLIVE has decided to protect ourcurrent and futureemployees by managing our business remotely. This is inclusive of interviewing, onboarding, and each role day-to-day.

The DevOps Engineer will work with our Principal DevOps Engineer to evaluate and improve our processes around continuous integration and automation. This individual will work to deploy new applications and troubleshoot existing. The DevOps Engineer will also play a part in redesigning products and systems for both patients and providers.

What you'll do?

As the DevOps Engineer you will work cross-functionally with our Software Engineers, Product Managers, and Production Support teams. In addition, you will:

• Develop and advance our capabilities in Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment.
• Build, operate, scale, and troubleshoot the MDLIVE SaaS infrastructure.
• Build, operate, and manage infrastructure and application monitoring solutions.
• Enhance our monitoring tools, build infrastructure, and source code management.
• In collaboration with other teams, make sure our infrastructure and applications that depend on it work together seamlessly.
• Support other teams' build and infrastructure needs on an as-needed basis.
• Write tools for systems and infrastructure automation.
• As part of an on-call rotation, provide operations coverage.

What skills and experience do you bring?

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and work experience
• 3 years' experience with Windows and Linux
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with Git
• Experience in scripting or programming languages (Ruby, Perl, Python, Shell, PowerShell, etc.)
• Experience with Configuration Management platforms (Chef, Ansible, Puppet, etc.)
• Experience in monitoring tools like (Splunk, ELK, Application monitoring, etc.)
• Good understanding of networking and security best practices
• Moderate understanding and implementation of Ruby and RESTful API
