The Team

At Staked we combine software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale fault-tolerant staking node infrastructure for 40+ blockchains.

DevOps Engineering at Staked is the heart of the operation. We combine software and systems engineering to build and run large-scale fault-tolerant staking node infrastructure. Staked uses a variety of tools including Kubernetes Terraform Jenkins Prometheus and Grafana for system orchestration and monitoring.

The Opportunity

• Manage creation maintenance and improvement of core “Infrastructure As Code” supporting production systems

• Support the design and enhancement of automation processes to scale and evolve systems for improved reliability and velocity

• Aid in the management of containerized applications within the data infrastructure using Kubernetes ensuring efficient deployment scaling and orchestration

• Participate in measuring and monitoring availability latency and overall system health of core infrastructure components

• Work closely with the BlockOps and senior team members to ensure efficient deployment and maintenance of Staking Validators

• Support sustainable incident response practices and participate in blameless post-mortems

• Collaborate with senior team members and other teams

• Assist in implementing effective incident response procedures and contribute to on-call rotations

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents promptly to minimize downtime and impact

Skills you should HODL

• BS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g. physics or mathematics)

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience using Kubernetes

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience with best practices and management in AWS or GCP

• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python Go or Java

• Experience with UNIX power tools (bash grep etc)

• Experience with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana

• Interest in crypto and  blockchain technology or relevant experience required

• Ability to work EST/CST timezone
