DevOps Engineer/ Technical Lead

Virtasant is a leading cloud consulting services provider. We heavily focus on lift & shift cloud-native development cloud cost optimization and migration services. As a consulting company we often face the challenge of creating an engineering team in a matter of a week or two. To do that we have created a secondary support business that runs a talent network and provides staffing services.

In this role you will support internal teams by managing access to various tools provisioning essential infrastructure for internal projects and deploying our application to both test and production environments. Additionally you will be responsible for supporting and troubleshooting these deployments to ensure smooth operation and quick resolution of any issues that arise.

Role and Responsibilities

• Develops maintains and adjusts CI/CD and automation pipelines. Coordinate work with other DevOps members in the team.

• The Senior DevOps Engineer will work to design build and implement automation and enhancements to the product development team's development environment following agile/scrum and production monitoring systems.

• Work closely with DevOps and Development teams to build and run a fully automated software deployment and application provisioning capability.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of work experience in a software development environment in a DevOps Build and Release Engineering or Site Reliability Engineering role.

• Experience with continuous deployment of a microservice-based enterprise cloud application. Our platform is based on AWS Azure Google Cloud Docker Kubernetes Terraform Jenkins RabbitMQ and other standard tools.

• Experience developing and scaling an automated build and test environment.

• Excellent scripting skills in Python JavaScript or Linux shell scripts.
