DevOps Engineering Consultant

We are looking for a DevOps Engineering Consultant who will lead and drive delivery of diverse development environments including cloud infrastructure design, CI/CD pipeline development, and infrastructure as code best practices. You will work at the intersection of Development and Operations to design, code, test, and optimize great solutions for clients in an environment with people who truly care about you and your ideas.

Location: United States, Remote

Note: While you may be located anywhere in the U.S. for this role, many of our clients work in the Pacific Time Zone, so willingness to work in PT is required.

Requirements:

· 2+ years of experience deploying and delivering DevOps projects

· 1+ years of experience as a Consultant or in a consulting environment

· Experience with project management principles such as Agile and Scrum

· A solid understanding of operating systems such as Linux, Windows, iOS, and Android

· A solid understanding of several programming languages and public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform)

· Experience with automation tools such as Ansible, Jenkins, Docker, Chef, Maven, and Gradle

Nice to have skills:

· Demonstrated success working with and facilitating decisions across departments, including senior leadership

Responsibilities:

· Build, deploy, configure, and maintain systems in AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud

environments

· Work closely with the development team to ensure a continuous integration environment

· Optimize and automate processes

· Troubleshoot and solve issues in development, testing, and production.

· Stay on top of emerging technologies, and partner with market-leading technology organizations to understand and leverage their products
