Position Summary

We are looking for ambitious student engineers to tackle and learn our projects in the cloud and data space. Student will work on a project of upgrading our Infrastructure as code (IAC) templates and pipelines. They will also get a chance to work on our CRITICAL production pipeline solutions that are built with technologies like Elasticsearch, AWS Opensearch, MS SQL Server, AWS RDS etc.

They will work alongside AWS experts on the team and learn and implement real code in the cloud that actually help our customers who have our products deployed in their environments.

Location: Portland, OR

Length of Term: 4 months

What you will do:

  • Work on a Terraform codebase, implement new modules and upgrade TF, TG versions.
  • Work on Elasticsearch configurations and deployments.
  • Work on identifying a path for Legacy ES upgrades to a modern system like OpenSearch.
  • Manage users, roles, other configurations across our MS SQL Cluster (80+ nodes).
  • Implement advanced monitoring tools like Prometheus against our production infrastructure.

Who we are looking for:

  • Required programming knowledge in any of Python, Go or T-SQL.
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree in computer science or related fields.
  • Preferred exposure to AWS Cloud.
  • Preferred Administrator knowledge on Linux environments.
