We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer (AWS, Kubernetes) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be a pivotal player in streamlining our software development processes, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and fostering collaboration across teams. This position is based on-site in Denver, CO, USA, and is a full-time role.

The annual base salary is $85,000 –$100,000. Candidates will be paid within this range based on their work experience and skills. Candidates are also eligible for our full list of benefits linked here.

Responsibilities:

• Design and Develop Robust CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and ensure code quality.
• Working with Software Architects, create Cloud Infrastructure designs inclusive of both container-based and non-containerized portions of the architecture.
• Provide guidance on AWS architectural best practices.
• Develop CI/CD capabilities for container-based applications using tooling such as ArgoCD, Kustomize, Helm, Packer, Operators, etc.
• Act as a Kubernetes / AWS EKS SME.
• Using customer-provided capabilities, configure Observability capabilities to support application performance and availability measurement and alerting.
• Work with customer-provided capabilities to incorporate security, cost, redundancy and other best practices into application and infrastructure architectures.
• Incorporate DevOps tasks into Agile EPICs, Stories and Features; participate in Agile ceremonies.
• Act as a Subject Matter expert and leader to more junior DevOps team members.
• Assist Development and QA Leads in areas such as Build and Deployment Automation.
• Write IAC, Configuration Management and other code that meets functional requirements and is testable and maintainable.
• Have a passion for test driven development.
• Produce technical designs and documentation at varying levels of granularity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5 years of proven experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and automating software delivery.
• Proficiency in DevOps tools and technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform.
• Strong expertise in cloud environments, preferably AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, with a focus on optimization.
• Must have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent technical written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with working in an Agile environment.
• Experience with software development lifecycle best practices is a plus.
• Must be self-driven with enthusiasm for embracing new technologies and methodologies.
