Overview

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead with a strong background in Microsoft Azure and a proven track record of implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines and microservices. The DevOps Lead will play a key role in driving the adoption of DevOps best practices and enabling our teams to deliver high-quality software products efficiently and reliably.

This position can be entirely virtual/remote/work from home and you can sit anywhere in the US.

How you'll make an impact

• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of DevOps processes and tools, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines to automate software deployment and delivery processes.
• Drive the adoption of microservices architecture and provide guidance on best practices for development and deployment.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to streamline the software development lifecycle and improve release velocity.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions to ensure the reliability and performance of production systems.
• Lead and mentor team members, providing guidance and support on DevOps practices and technologies.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities to optimize processes and increase efficiency.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies, and make recommendations for tooling and process improvements.

About You

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 7+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps roles, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
• Expertise in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab.
• Strong proficiency in microservices architecture and containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager (ARM).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as PowerShell, Bash, or Python.
• Experience working in Agile environments and strong familiarity with Agile methodologies.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and departments.
• Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure DevOps Engineer Expert or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) are a plus.
