DevOps Manager

DevOps Manager supports the Product and Technology Department by managing software delivery pipelines, systems reliability, monitoring solutions, security, and scalability of the cloud applications.
Responsibilities

• Manages and examines software architectures, delivery risks, issues, and changes associated to the product development initiatives.
• Manage a team of DevOps engineers to deliver and maintain deployment tools, integrations, continuous delivery, and deployment pipelines.
• Directs the work of a team responsible for overall planning, execution, and success of technical projects, operating with scale, speed, and quality.
• Work closely with other Product, Development, QA, and Technical Operations teams to build and deploy software infrastructure and monitoring solutions.
• Manages operational aspects of production and development servers including developing, training in, and validating compliance with procedures and checklists, monitoring solutions, deployment conventions, access to the production and development servers, source control access and usage.
• Works within IT, cross-functionally and with vendors, to successfully identify, prioritize, and resolve issues and provide subject matter expertise for enhancements, developments, and operational improvements to the web applications.
• Maintains issue tracking system and provides reporting that ensures proper tracking and visibility of issues and projects.
• Architect automation solutions by writing code in any of the programming languages: Python, Golang or Ruby.

Role Specific Skills

• 5 or more years of experience in software development and deploying applications to production.
• Extensive experience in build processes, system integrations, and deployment pipelines.
• Demonstrated proficiency with at least one of the following languages: Golang, Python, Ruby or Java.
• Experience with designing scalable monitoring solutions for systems reliability, targeting either Linux or Windows systems.
• Experience in coordinating across teams, coaching DevOps engineers, and helping with professional growth.
• Experience in people management processes, including recruitment and performance analysis.
• Experience with Kubernetes and certified in any of the cloud environments: AWS, Azure or GCP
• Experience implementing and managing distributed systems and storage solutions.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or with equivalent professional experience
• 5 or more years of progressive IT experience
