DevOps Platform Engineer

Dark Wolf Solutions is looking for a DevOps Platform Engineer who is interested in working on cloud-based DevOps solutions and had experience with Terraform, Jenkins, GitLab, CI and/or Concourse. Our DevOps Engineers are asked to solve challenging problems for unique customers and have a direct impact on the direction of software products and solutions used by those customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploying and configuring Kubernetes services/architecture with CLI tools like kubectl, kustomize, helm, sops
• Deploying and configuring Kubernetes clusters on both cloud service provider and on-premises infrastructure
• Deploying and configuring services on Kubernetes, such as Istio, Keycloak, GitLab, Prometheus, Elastic stack
• Building custom Docker images, using custom images in Helm chart deployments
• GitOps deployments for continuous delivery operators such as ArgoCD and/or Flux

• 4+ years of relevant experience 
• Ability to configure cloud services such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform 
• Experience implementing CI/CD with tools such as Jenkins, TravisCI
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Chef 
• Previous experience with Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) products such as Kubernetes, Red Hat Open Shift, and Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF)
• Demonstrated experience deploying and managing Kubernetes clusters on cloud service provider or on-premises infrastructure
• Demonstrated experience using IaC/CaC best practices, and tools such as Terraform and Helm, to automate provisioning of cloud services, and configuration and deployment of Kubernetes workloads
• Comfortable in a project startup environment 
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field 
  
• US Citizenship and an active Top Secret with SCI Eligibility security clearance required

Desired Qualifications:

• MS Degree in Computer Science/Engineering, Information Systems or equivalent
  
• Experience with Tanzu
