DevOps SRE with Oracle

The DevOps SRE with Oracle is a senior level position responsible for bringing SRE mindset, practices and working together with the team of service support engineers and operations for activities relating to the build, maintenance and operation of infrastructure platforms, concentrating on Oracle databases being integrated part services used by Citi developer services.

Responsibilities:

• Drives the discipline of engineering to deliver critical Oracle DB platform support and optimize its functionality,

• Support the creation and implementation of system improvements that will improve performance and reliability while maintaining controls,

• Automate manual activities, repetitive processes, reporting, controls, etc., configure and tune them,

Qualifications:

• Applies in-depth/comprehensive knowledge of Oracle database administration domain to assume responsibility for large, complex system(s) / initiatives,

• Software development experience, scripting in at least one of these: Python/Shell/Bash/Ksh/Java/C#,

• Experience in working with Bitbucket/Github/Jira/Confluence/Artifactory,

• Understanding of SRE principles, DevOps, CI/CD,

• Knowledge of Performance Testing tools like LoadRunner/Performance Center will be additional value.
