DevOps Summer Intern

We're hiring a DevOps Summer Intern!

The intern program runs from May 15th through August 4th at our Scottsdale, AZ headquarters.

About this position

The IT DevOps Intern is responsible for assisting with maintaining the operational status of cloud-based and physical infrastructure for Plexus Worldwide. This role will assist with the maintenance of both physical and virtualized environments, managing services related to data storage, system health, and hosting infrastructure. In addition to systems engineering, this role will also aid in the deployment of code, taking projects from non-prod to staging environments.

What you'll do

• You assist with provisioning computing resources, storage, network, infrastructure component security, and related services.
• You carry out engineering duties such as software installations, access control list maintenance, disk storage management, data backup and recovery, and system patching.
• You configure, maintain, and use best practices to apply global changes and monitor system health.
• You help build out automated deployment script updates, support, and maintenance for all releases and platforms.
• You monitor and analyze the build and deployment pipelines to ensure builds are deployed in an accurate and timely manner.
• You assist in Developing and documenting infrastructure standards and automating repetitive tasks.

You should have

• You are a current matriculating student for undergrad or graduate schools.
• You have strong problem-solving skills: innovation, collaboration, analysis, and inductive reasoning.
• You can collaborate with others and thrive in team environments while meeting individual goals and expectations.
• You have the experience and ability to provide solutions while working in cross-functional areas to facilitate the successful completion of projects.
