Belay Technologies is seeking a System Administrator (SA) - DevOps of all levels to support and join our intel team. The SA will support will focus on administration and maintenance of the WEBCANDID tool, which tracks, administers, and archives requests for mission-critical published intelligence reports used by the Intelligence Community and partners around the world. The SA's responsibilities will include: deploying applications and services; installing and configuring complex software; managing network servers and technology tools; monitoring and maintaining the system for required levels of performance; writing scripts to automate general system operations or DevOps activities; and troubleshooting and resolving issues and outages.

Telework is not expected for this role. Candidates will be required to work a rotating pager schedule for emergency 24/7 call-in support as required (roughly one week out of every 3-4 weeks). Staff may charge 4 additional hours for the week they are on call in addition to hours worked. On average, the WEBCANDID team is paged for after-hours support approximately once per month with most issues resolvable by phone.

SE Level 1:

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional System Administrator experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
  • Five (5) years' experience as a System Administrator in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

  • Experienced with General DevOps using Unix/Linux, to include bash, scripting, ftp, .sh, etc and system monitoring
  • Experienced with GIT repositories, GitPipelines, Argo; tag/release/build processes
  • Experienced with General development/staging/coop/production environment management and deployments
  • Experienced with Java environments

Candidates are desired to have the following skills:

  • Experienced with MASH
  • Experienced with Knowledge of working with the GECC and handling outages
  • Experienced with Java software development
  • Familiarity working in an Agile environment
  • Experienced with Jira and Confluence
  • Experienced with Hadoop, Accumulo
  • Experienced with Apollo

Mid- Level SE:

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

  • TS/SCI with polygraph is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university. Five (5) years of additional System Administrator experience may be substituted for a Bachelor's degree.
  • Ten (10) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

  • Experienced with General DevOps using Unix/Linux, to include bash, scripting, ftp, .sh, etc and system monitoring
  • Experienced with GIT repositories, GitPipelines, Argo; tag/release/build processes
  • Experienced with General development/staging/coop/production environment management and deployments
  • Experienced with Java environments

  • Fifteen (15) years of experience in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity within the Federal Government is required.

Candidates are required to have the following skills:

  • Experienced with General DevOps using Unix/Linux, to include bash, scripting, ftp, .sh, etc and system monitoring
  • Experienced with GIT repositories, GitPipelines, Argo; tag/release/build processes
  • Experienced with General development/staging/coop/production environment management and deployments
  • Experienced with Java environments
