DevOps Team Lead

We are looking for a talented DevOps Team Lead  to join our remote team. If you have top-notch programming skills and a deep-rooted passion for developing applications or improving existing ones--plus you like to solve problems--we would like to meet you. As a DevOps Team Lead you will work closely within a small team in SCRUM (but in conjunction with other dev teams) to ensure system consistency and to improve the user experience.

What is vital, however, is that you have, and demonstrate, a burning desire to constantly learn new things and to be proactive in your development efforts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective seamless integration of DevOps and security policies to maximize uptime, optimize the developer experience, and minimize security risks.
• Champion automation and continuous delivery throughout the development lifecycle.
• Manage a small team of DevOps engineers.
• Work closely with senior management to create a DevOps strategic roadmap.
• Create and report on OKRs/KPIs that define success.
• Increase developer satisfaction by enhancing the developer experience.
• Manage Disaster Recovery.

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience.
• Infrastructure tools such as Terraform, Helm.
• Containerization such as Docker, Kubernetes, Istio.
• Monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Thanos.
• Deployment tools such as ArgoCD, GitLab.
• GCP.
• Strong written and communication skills in English (B2 or above)
• Experience with Scrum methodologies
• Team player & ability to work with multiple teams across the organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Cockroach DB.
• Knowledge of relational/non-relational databases.
