Devops Team Lead

Intento builds a Machine Translation and multilingual Generative AI platform for global businesses. We deliver immediate, tailored, and personalized language experience in all the software systems your customers and teammates already use, supporting over 650 languages.

We are looking for an experienced Devops Team Lead to lead our Devops Team and support our growth plans.

This is a remote role but we expect this person to work and be available during European time zone (CET) working hours.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams ( RnD, Product) to to ensure seamless product delivery and alignment with business objectives..

• Design, implement and continuously improve the cloud infrastructure for Intento’s products.

• Provide mentorship and technical leadership to the team, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.

• Ensure high performance and alignment by setting clear goals, providing feedback, and removing roadblocks.

• People management: onboarding, performance management, supporting growth, managing time off and on-call schedules.

• Ensure cloud infrastructure is compliant with security and regulatory requirements, integrating security best practices into DevOps processes

• Working with the CIO to create mid-term plans for the team in line with company goals and requests from other team

• Short-term planning and implementation in line with mid-term plans and projects

• Participate in the team’s on-call shifts to meet 365/7/24 schedule, while working to reduce on-call incidents through automation and system improvements

We are looking for:

Required:

• 1+ years of AWS experience (including EKS)

• 2+ years Kubernetes experience

• 1+ years Terraform experience

• 3+ years of infrastructure operations experience

• 1+ years of people management experience

• Basic knowledge of at least some of the following programming languages - Python, JavaScript/TypeScript

Preferred

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in CS or related field

• AWS certifications (SysOps Administrator, DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect, etc.)
