At LG NOVA, you'll be a leader in a large collaborative group of makers, breakers, doers, and disruptors who love to solve real problems and meet real customer needs.

As a DevSecOps Architect at LG NOVA, you will be responsible for leading the DevSecOps team to architect, design, secure, build, and maintain our back-end infrastructure.

What You'll Do:
• Architect, implement, and deploy the technical back-end infrastructure.
• Collaborate with & consult for development teams on how to optimally exploit the capabilities of the technical back-end infrastructure.
• Define CI/CD pipelines for internal and external development teams.
• Continually expand the scope of our CI/CD pipeline capabilities based on common themes and opportunities.
• Assist teams with left-shifting Security, Privacy, and Trustworthiness in the software development life cycle. Develop security and privacy governance, and participate in meetings with senior leadership as related to such governance.
• Develop security audit plans, and participate in table-top exercises, such as pen tests, red/blue teams, etc.
• Own and drive regulatory compliance initiatives.
• Work with development teams to ensure software services for our customers are designed for scalability & resiliency.
• Identify and resolve risks in the infrastructure.
• Identify opportunities to improve team processes and tooling.
• Collaborate across teams to improve existing services and launch new features.
• Lead by example, by getting your own hands dirty through hands-on-keyboard contributions.
• Mentor other engineers on the team including Software Development Engineers.

Desired Experience:
• At least 12 years experience as a Dev(Sec)Ops Engineer and/or Software Architect.
• Hands-on experience architecting large-scale technical solutions.
• Experience building solutions for audiences consisting primarly of engineers is a plus.
• Experience with HIPAA, SOC-2 or similar compliance.
• Knowledge of the NIST CyberSecurity framework (or similar) a plus.
• Experience working at a startup is a plus.
• Experience developing SaaS or PaaS products is desirable.

Education:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in Computer Science or a related field is required
• Equivalent work experience in a similar position may be substituted for educational requirements.
