About the role

We are looking for an engineer based out of Hungary to do DevSecOps work on our IT Infrastructure and Security team. This is a hands-on position that requires writing and reviewing code on a daily basis. Besides project work there is an operational component to the job to support our Engineering organization and our whole company.

This position reports to the Lead DevOps Engineer.

Hungary Based Salary: HUF 21,977,000 - HUF 27,294,000What you will do

• You will be part of our Engineering organization and report directly to the head of IT Infrastructure and Security
• Automate and secure our infrastructure from clouds to endpoints, build tooling to enhance development velocity
• Take part in an on-call rotation
• Work with an agile, exceptionally skilled, globally distributed team
• Work daily with Microsoft Azure, use tools such as Terraform, Terragrunt, Ansible, GitHub Actions, etc.
• Automate any repetitive tasks you may come across using Bash, Python, etc.
• Review and deploy code, while simultaneously mentor your junior teammates
• Participate in architectural design sessions in order to build in scalability, reliability, and security into our products from the earliest stages

Additional qualifications and considerations 

• At least 5 years in a DevOps or Cloud Operations position, with demonstrated experience in Infrastructure Security
• At least 1 year of production Microsoft Azure experience
• Demonstrated programming/scripting experience in at least one of python or bash
• Strong knowledge of Ansible
• In-Depth experience with Terraform
• Demonstrated experience working with developing and maintaining a large modular infrastructure codebase that can scale with the growth of the company’s technological footprint
• Solid experience with at least one CI/CD system that uses declarative configuration (Github Actions preferred) and understanding of its security considerations and best practices
• Experience in Mentoring Junior Engineers
• A ‘customer-facing’ mentality, since you will regularly be doing cross-functional work with multiple development teams who rely on you to be the Subject Matter Expert in the areas of cloud infrastructure automation and security

Nice-to-Have

• Experience with DataDog
• Integrating, developing queries, and automating incident response for a major SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel preferred)
• Experience with Terragrunt and/or Atlantis
• Experience with endpoint automation using the Jamf Suite
• Integrating SaaS services into Single Sign-on (Azure AD preferred) and SCIM
