DevSecOps Engineer

Description

SAIC is looking to hire a talented DevSecOps Engineer who will design, deploy, operate, and maintain resilient secure Cloud environments to enable development teams to deliver features in the most efficient way possible. This opportunity will be remote for the right candidate. Candidates must have an Interim Secret Clearance to start and must be able to get a full secret clearance.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and maintain cloud environments using Infrastructure as Code (Iac) and SRE principles.
• Maintenance and ongoing development of automation and continuous build/integration/deployment infrastructure for multiple environments; write, build and deploy scripts.
• Enable observability and resilience throughout multi-cloud landing zones and Dev/Test/Prod environments.
• Support implementation of security policies, standards, guidelines, and governance.
• Continuously assess, onboard, and enable new FedRAMP cloud services using security best practices for IAM and networking.

Qualifications

Proven background working in cloud environments with experience and knowledge in one or more of the following areas:

• Bachelors Degree and 2 years of experience. 6 Years of Experience in Lieu of a degree.
• Must be U.S Citizen
• Must have an interim Secret clearance and the ability to get a full secret clearance
• Agile methodologies including Scrum or Kanban
• Agile collaboration tools such as Atlassian Jira, Confluence
• CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab, Bitbucket, Artifactory)
• CSPs including Azure, AWS, or OCI
• Containerization and container management with Kubernetes and Helm
• PowerShell or Bash Scripting
• Security automation with tools such as Static Application Security Testing (SAST) and Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST)
• Cyber tools - Aviatrix, Orca, Splunk, Qmulous, STIG scanner
• Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation
• Git, branching strategies, GitFlow and/or GitHub Flow
