DevSecOps Engineer

Your Role and Responsibilities
As a DevSecOps Engineer you will join a Senior DevSecOps team in the Office of the CTO responsible for leading advanced software engineering using containerization tools on modern cloud platforms. You will work on advancing DevSecOps automation and engineering using modern techniques including Generative AI. You will be comfortable working side by side with other engineers product managers designers and clients making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users. You have a passion for high-quality reliable and maintainable code using Cloud-Native architectures and tools. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and energetic lead developer that takes initiative enjoys finding solutions to a varying number of challenges is detail-oriented and takes extreme pride in their work. The candidate is preferred to have experience and/or accreditation in DevOps/DevSecOps and Kubernetes.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• Highly skilled in DevSecOps process tools and techniques and able to build out CI/CD automations using YAML Terraform Anisble OpenTofu
• Highly skilled in the use of Terraform Ansible and OpenTofu for the auto provisioning of Cloud architectures
• Highly skilled in Kubernetes and container technologies especially the CNCF projects: ArgoCD Harbor Flux fluentd LinkerD Open Policy Agent Helm etc.
• Highly Skilled with CI/CD pipelines; including technologies such as Docker GitLab GitHub Artifactory Sonatype Sonarqube OWASP Fortify Tricentis Tenable etc.
• Strong skills in Cloud Providers (AWS Azure Google)
• Experience working in an Agile environment implementing solutions based on cloud native frameworks and direct container technology related experience.

• Active DoD SECRET preferred or ability to obtain a clearance
